Key Locations/Landmarks Empty Key Locations/Landmarks

Feel free to add places to this list within reason! That way we can all help to flesh out the area. I'll add one to start with. For my own personal ease I'm setting this in the greater Grand Rapids area but keep in mind this is in the future so don't feel bad about adding places that don't exist.

Key Locations/Landmarks Empty Al's Bar, GR MI

Post by Corsenna Wed Oct 05, 2016 11:02 am

Name: Al's Bar
Location: Downtown Grand Rapids, on the river.
Type: It's a bar, they serve alcohol, and some food.
What your character would (or could) know It's a relatively inexpensive place. Has table seating for ~45 people and bar seating for ~15 people. Looks more like a medieval tavern than a modern (futuristic) bar. There are 4 single-room apartments accessible from the basement with inside and outside entrances and 2 accessible from the roof with both inside and outside entrances.Only 2 of these are in use. There are ads hung inside the bar for the open apartments.
What your character wouldn't know: The proprietor - Al - is one of the first supernaturals that appeared in this world, he is a species very much like vampires but rather than surviving on blood he eats non-physical elements of people such as memories (including memories you ... don't actually remember?), dreams, emotions, and souls (still requires physical contact) whatever sounds tastiest at the time. The bar has a VIP room where supernaturals can hang out without worrying about silly normal human's seeing them. But wait, how do you get access to the VIP room without revealing what you are in the first place? Good question.

If at all possible, this is where I would like Alexia to hatch. She hatched in a bar the first time around right?

I think that sounds totally appropriate.

Key Locations/Landmarks Empty Hiawatha National Forest

Post by Corsenna Wed Oct 05, 2016 11:06 am

Name: Hiawatha National Forest
Location: Gladstone, Michigan
Type: National forest. Camping/Recreational area
What your character would (or could) know: Supernaturals that go here seem to usually have a bad time.
What your character wouldn't know: There is a hidden facility, one of the many that had a part in causing the 'Incident' allowing the tears between dimensions. This facility is now focused on regional 'damage control' removing things that don't belong in the area and using them to further their (now illegal...technically) research.
(spoiler box is just to save space, map showing location of the park)
